Troy Lee Design is one of the bigger brands in the world of motocross gear and protective equipment. They manufacture and sell a full line of products for us dirt bikers.

But where are their products made?

Where is Troy Lee Designs Riding Gear made?

With riding gear we’re talking about pants, jerseys and gloves.

So where does TLD actually manufacture their gear?

Well the answer is that it depends on which collection and series you buy. But generally it’s from Vietnam.

Pants

The GP series and other series is made in Vietnam.

Jerseys

The GP series and other series is made in Vietnam.

Gloves

All gloves are made in Vietnam.

Where are TLD Helmets made?

TLD has a few different helmet series and some of them manufactured in different countries.

GP Helmets

GP helmets are made in China.

SE4 Helmets

The Carbon model is made in Taiwan.

The Polyacrylite model is made in China.

SE5 Helmet

The Top of the Line SE5 Carbon helmet is made in Taiwan.

Where is TLD Protection gear made?

Pretty much all of their protection gear is produced in China.

Conclusion

  • Almost all of Troy Lee Designs motocross gear are made in either China, Thailand or Vietnam.
  • However, TLD is no different than any other brand in the MX world. Products produced in China and Asia is cheap and of good quality.
