Pro Career
Chase Sexton was a well known rookie and a dominant force on the AM circuit. This gave him a spot on the GEICO Honda amateur program and in 2016 he earned the AMA Nicky Hayden Amateur Horizon Award.
In 2017, he turned pro with the GEICO Honda team. But the first year didn’t go to plan. As a rookie he ended up with both a broken wrist and snapped femur.
In 2018, he was back and finished 5th in the SX series and 6th in the MX series. He also became the 2018 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Rookie of the year.
In 2019, he won the AMA Supercross 250cc East Championships for GEICO Honda.
The 2020 season started with a broken collarbone, happened in December 2019. This led to a last-minute change in coasts. Chase was supposed to race the West Coast region that year.
But instead he raced the East series and defended his title from the previous year. After that title he switched class and rode the 2020 AMA Pro Motocross Championship on a 450.

Since 2020 he has had several wins in both SX and MX. In 2022, he came real close to winning the AMA Pro Motocross title. The series was decided in the last heat of the year. But here, Eli Tomac, came out as the stronger rider and took the title.
For 2023 Chase will be one of the main title contenders both inside (SX) and outside (MX).
